On the 7th June 2012, Fondazione Sorgente Group inaugurated its own Tritone Exhibition Space, at 132 Via del Tritone, with an exhibition involving furniture, furnishing items, sculptures and paintings of the Art Nouveau artistic period. Thanks to the consultancy provided by Claudio Strinati, Scientific Director of Fondazione, and the artistic supervision and coordination of the Foundation’s Vice President, Paola Mainetti, it has been possible to animate works of particular elegance, a testimony of a past today long forgone. The acquisition, choice and exhibition of the masterpieces was directly followed by the Vice President who managed to recreate the delicate and sophisticated atmosphere. Allocated on the first levels, were pieces of furniture realized by important artists, such as Emile Gallé, Louis Majorelle, Jacques Gruber. The walls were adorned with paintings by important Italian artists of the period, (including Sartorio, Zecchin, and Chini), which were requested on loan. Moving up to the mezzanine, ad hoc window displays were realized completely in glass with oak shelves, covered with rusty-coloured velvet, wherein furnishing items and gilded bronze statues were placed, bearing the illustrious signatures of René Lalique, Louis Chalon, Tiffany Studios, Maurice Bouval and Peter Carl Fabergé.
